Hi there, Although, as I posted last time , I am still figuring out what we are and why we do things to harm each other as human, I am back from the deep depression and now am feeling more alive and hopeful again. I have a confession to make-it's been a very difficult time for me to come up with new jewelry ideas in the last several weeks. And this might just sound I am making an excuse but since I know exactly why, I thought that I would make a post on this.  Besides my current move of my workspace, there's been just too much sad news that are giving me such a hard time to be creative and productive. (If I was working for a Japanese company, I'd probably be fired right away.) I could not possibly write a blog after just one post last month. Why on earth the airplane needed to be shot down? What the fuck is going on in Gaza, with Palestine, and Israel? And now Japan is possibly becoming the nation that supports war fares? These last few weeks have been crazy hectic change for me. I had to say goodbye to my beloved neighborhood in Brooklyn last month and moved to a new neighborhood in Queens.  Things are still chaos even though it is kind of beautiful and enjoyable and nothing is settled but I am slowly putting my work space together even temporarily to start producing for Pigeon Dynamite . I hate packing/unpacking but as I was sorting out things from the boxes, I find myself excited to find things that I haven't seen in a long time or things that I forgot that I had. And yes, going through all these only delays everything that has to be done. But I was reading all the letters that I've received from my friends and family since I left Japan, which has been 10 years. I remembered the day when I left Japan, my friends all came to the airport to surprise me and to see me off. They gave me cards and letters. They sent me letters and cards to wherever I lived. Definitely one of this summer's key words is World Cup. Perhaps it is one of the least popular sports in America, but soccer's biggest event, FIFA World Cup 2014 is happening in Brazil. I must say though American team has been getting better supposedly without rigid support from their own people. I love soccer more than American football. (By the way, when I learned the word "football" in school, I was taught that was soccer. Guess Japanese school's English is more British than American.) Since my last post , time somehow had flown away and I've just finally got time to sit down and write this newly monthly updated blog. Shame on me. Before I even realize we welcomed April, May has started. Getting older surely fast-forwards time, which sometimes is not necessarily a bad thing. In fact, sometimes I wish time could just go faster. Maybe just a little faster, or much faster. and by the way, no. I am not writing this post while I'm constipating.  Well, excuse me. I digress. I remember the time felt like eternal when I was younger and it was painful. Probably teenage time passed rather quickly for me because most of the time it felt like my mind was always somewhere else.
