As I announced this blog becoming irregular post last time, I firstly would like to thank you for coming back, or finding my blog by accident, or any circumstances you are reading this now doesn't matter-I thank you. Now Olympics is over but it is always inspiring to watch world class top athletes. I personally am a fan of figure skating, to watch, I may just add. The world of stoicism attracts me and I think any sports has something really similar to the Japanese Samurai spirit "Bushido." One of the most popular female figure skaters in Japan, Mao Asada, to me was more of a fighter rather than just a figure skater. PD's Happy First Anniversary!

Yes, yes...thank you, thank you! Last year, on February 10th, my shop Pigeon Dynamite officially opened on Etsy. It's been a great year ride and I wanna say thank you to all who have supported and been supporting. I started with just three items on the site, and within a month I received my first order. I had a Japanese site for the Japanese customers as well but it was very limited due to the numbers of items I could post, so I kept it minimal. But still people wanted to buy and contacted me through Facebook page so I sold items in Japan by moving the items from main site to the Japanese website. Custom orders are always fun and exciting. Making something special for a client, or their special person gives me a kind of joy that I never knew. It could be challenging but luckily I never failed to make my clients happy. February is usually one of the coldest months in Japan. My January and February's school absence almost got me a nickname of any hibernate animal. But the good thing about February is that it doesn't stay with us too long. And there is... Valentine's Day! my favorite donuts shop's window last year..love is like donuts.. It's not just for lovers and couples, but it should be celebrated with happiness and love. In Japan, it's quite opposite the way how people participate this event. Girls get present, or traditionally make sweets such as chocolate for their love interest. Some companies even kind of expect the female workers to bring chocolate for male workers and their boss. However, it's plain manner rather than intimate expectation..well, some might, but in general.    It's pretty much controlled by the media just like any, since they normally start selling expensive special chocolate as early as a month before for Valentine's Day i
