Out of BRKLYN
These last few weeks have been crazy hectic change for me.
I had to say goodbye to my beloved neighborhood in Brooklyn last month and moved to a new neighborhood in Queens.
Things are still chaos even though it is kind of beautiful and enjoyable and nothing is settled but I am slowly putting my work space together even temporarily to start producing for Pigeon Dynamite.
I hate packing/unpacking but as I was sorting out things from the boxes, I find myself excited to find things that I haven't seen in a long time or things that I forgot that I had. And yes, going through all these only delays everything that has to be done.
But I was reading all the letters that I've received from my friends and family since I left Japan, which has been 10 years.
I remembered the day when I left Japan, my friends all came to the airport to surprise me and to see me off.
They gave me cards and letters. They sent me letters and cards to wherever I lived. And the people I've met since I left gave me cards and letters. All the letters that I've collected made some bags full of love and happiness. I try to write them letters or cards once in a while because I just love the feel of receiving cards and letters so I want to write them.
One thing that I am confident about my life is that I've got the luckiest luck on my friends.
I can honestly brag how lucky I am to have them in my life, how wonderful they are, for hours and hours. They give me inspiration, and they make me appreciate my life.

Even though my work space has been moved, nothing else has been changed in terms of Pigeon Dynamite's creation.
I still make the same way as I always did, and always try to make it better.
Brooklyn has become some kind of "brand" these days, but I always remember the origin of Pigeon Dynamite, where it started.
And I am kind of excited of this change-I've lived three boroughs now; Manhattan, Brooklyn, and now Queens. I cannot wait to find new inspiration and start new creations here.

こ2週間程しばらく忙しくてなかなかブログやソーシャルメディア関係の更新を滞ってしまってました。すみません。実は長く住み慣れたブルックリンから引っ
越してクィーンズに移動しました。未だにカオスな状態ですが、それはそれである意味美しい環境の中、ゆっくりながらワークスペースを少しずつセットアップ
している最中です。
早く Pigeon Dynamiteの製作に本格的に取りかかっていけるようにしたいところです。
（オーダーは随時受け付けています。）
引っ越しで嫌いなパッキング作業ですが、持っていた事を忘れていたものや、しばらく見てなかったものを見つけたりするとひとりで勝手に盛り上がってしまいます。
そうして全ての作業が長引く結果になるんですが。。
でも日本を離れてから10年間の間にずっとためてきた手紙を読み返して、自分が何れ程友達に恵まれているのか改めて実感したんです！
日本を出発する日、日本の友達がサプライズで空港迄来てくれて、手紙をくれたのを見つけたときは、思わず感極まって泣きそうになってしまいました。。
この10年の間に出逢ったひとからの手紙、カードも大切にとってあって、
自分が何れ程ラッキーか、どんな素晴らしい友達が居るのか自慢しようものなら何時間も延々としゃべり続けれそうだなと真剣に思いました。
今でも時間を見つけてはなるべく手紙を書いたりしようとしています。
手紙は書くのも好きですが、やっぱりもらって凄く嬉しいので、自分から出来るだけ書こうと思っています。
友達からインスピレーションを受けるし、何より人生に感謝する事を学びました。

新しい土地で環境は変わりましたが、今迄通り、手作りのジュエリーをお届けしていきます！そして今迄以上に素敵な一点ものを作りたいと思っています。
ブルックリンというものがいつしかある種のブランドと化してしまった今、逆にクィーンズが新鮮になっていると思っています。
今迄マンハッタン、ブルックリンと住んできたのでこれでNYの3つめのボロー（区）に住む事になります。
それでもPDの発信の拠点であるブルックリンを忘れず、これからも頑張っていきます！
