Wave good bye to winter

Ahh...NY was just as beautiful as can be today with blue sky and sunny...and still comes with the temperature that is below 0C.

Am I the only one who just had enough of this weather? It seems like not many got fed up with it maybe because we haven't got too bad of snow this year? Well...remember we just had a major snow storm not too long ago? That was more than enough, wasn't it?

Anyhow, even days like those cold days, there is something makes my heart warm.

I've just received one of my customers a heart warming message with her photo.

She kindly told me she fell in love with my creation at the first sight and waited until her payday to purchase my ring.

As a jewelry artist, there is really nothing makes me happier than hearing customers truly appreciate my work.

It is humbling and really makes me feel more responsible to make good work.

There will be many new collections and one of a kind pieces coming-I promise it'll be soon.

I just got behind the schedule since the last incident happened (if you missed the last post, check here.)

I ended up going to see a doctor, got shot and have been on antibiotics.

My thumb still feels bit sensitive but is 89% back now.

Again, I was such an idiot.

So, after this whole stupid careless mistake which only made me mad at myself, this customer's voice completely fueled my motivation.

I cannot wait for the spring-the full positive energy of inspiring season to arrive.

My new pieces should be launched just before the spring kicks in..

今日はNYは久しぶりに快晴です！

最低気温はマイナス6度。。。

もう無理、となっているのは私だけでしょうか。

春の訪れを待ちきれない私ですが、以前のポストにも書いたように、

おバカにもジュエラーとしてあるまじき指を負傷してしまい、ちょっとスケジュールに支障が。。。

結局病院に行ったので、もう今では完全ではないもの、ほぼ感覚を取り戻しつつあります。

そんな中、お客様から大変嬉しいお言葉とお写真が届きました。

私も個人的に普段使っているリングを購入されて、とても嬉しくなりました。

一目惚れだったとまで言っていただき、本当に作り手としてこれ以上の喜びはありません。

やっぱり手に取って頂いて、実際に素敵だったと言って頂けると、

それまでのある種の緊張というか、

気に入って頂けるかな、大丈夫かな、というようなソワソワした気持ちがふっと緩むような気になるんです。

緩む、ってあんまり響きは良くないかもしれませんが、

決してなくなる事がないので、どうしてもそう言った表現しかやっぱり出来ません。

これ以上の喜びが無い、と言いつつも

これからも努力して心に届くような手作りのジュエリーを作っていきたいと

責任感をますます感じるのが本音です。

でも、本当に嬉しいです。

SNSを通してお客様とお話をさせて頂く機会も増えたので、もっと色んな意見が聞きたいです。
