Happy 3rd Anniversary!

It's the official Pigeon Dynamite's 3rd Anniversary!

I cannot be more excited to announce that there will be much more awesomeness coming this year!

I am so thankful for all the support I've received. 

Last year around this time, Pigeon Dynamite had 400 fans on facebook page, 

and now there are over a thousand fans. (big smile here)

Instagram just passed a thousand followers as well.

I've been so lucky to get to know some of the customers through SNS and through my websites.

I get to know them more personally and that makes me want to work harder and get better at what I do everyday.

Throughout the last few years, I've learned a lot and keep learning many things to this day.

Just one sad thing happened a day before the anniversary, as I was setting a stone, I accidentally drilled myself. :(

It was so stupid and careless of myself that I didn't use my ring holder but as soon as I realized that I was supposed to, it was too late-I saw my 1.5mm drill bits was half an inch into my thumb. 

And for a second I don't know what I was thinking, or maybe not thinking at all, I still hit my pedal of my flex-shaft so it kept drilling deeper. (😱)

I pulled the bits out of my thumb with just expected amount of pain that I could barely handle.

Luckily it didn't go too deep to hit the bone so just my thumb is a bit disable for a while which still sucks to work on the jewelry bench but it could have been worse, so I am a ok.

Learning from mistakes. I give a thumb up on that truth.

今日はの3年目のPigeon Dynamiteのアニバーサリーです！

今年もたくさんの素敵なジュエリーが続々登場します！

とってもワクワクしています！

最近特に嬉しいのは、たくさんのお客様が私の作っているジュエリーを”身につけたい”と思って

私のショップを見て頂けることです。 

去年の今頃はFacebookのページのファンは400人程でしたが、今では1000人を超える方にファンになって頂いています。

毎日更新しているインスタグラムでは、去年からたくさんフューチャーをして頂き、

遂にフォロワーも1000人を突破しました。

本当に嬉しいです。

SNSを通してお客様とお話をする機会も増えたので、たくさんのサポートをますます身近に感じています。

 一つ一つのジュエリーを大切に、心を込めて作ろうという思いが強くなっているのを日に日に感じています。

そんな中、アニバーサリーの前日に、作業中うっかり自分の不注意で親指にドリルを突き刺してしまいました。

何とも強力なドリルでして、気付いたら1.5ミリのドリルが1センチ弱程親指に打ち込まれていました。。今思い出してもゾッとします。

何を思ったのか、まだペダルを踏み込んでしまったおバカな私はますます深く突き刺さったドリルを見て悲鳴。

痛みには強いタイプなんですが、何とか指で引き抜いて流血騒ぎ。

幸い骨には当たってなかったので、しばらく親指は麻痺していましたが何とか病院には行かずに済みそうです。

 （後ろのドリルピンヤローが突き刺さっていました。ピンはシャフトから外された後です。）

気をつけないといけませんねー。。本当に。

失敗から学んでいます。未だに。これからも頑張ります。

（親指が使いにくいので少しの間作業は遅くなるかもですが。。）
