Pigeon's Poop

Long before I knew I loved to learn English, my first real passion was art. (and still is.) Just like any kid before learning how to read and write, I started drawing. I grew up in a house where there was no family picture on the wall, but paintings and photography art. My mother used to take me to galleries and museums when I was little. It was such a precious time and I loved watching her really enjoying the art. And I also remember these artists had strong influence on me as a child. There are quite a few I still remember to this day that made a 9, 10 year-old girl really excited about making art with her tiny hands. Chihiro Iwasaki   Kiyoshi Yamashita Usually after going to see these artists work, I would get inspired right away  and simply start making the same type of art; After seeing Chihiro's work, I would start painting water color. After seeing Kiyoshi's work, I would start tearing Origami papers and glue them.   ...

It seems like these last some years every summer has been unbearably hot. It's so hot that ,not that I mind it though, even Ryan Gosling's shirt fell off. and just because I mentioned, here's a list of his top 3 movies, ladies... Lars and the real girl, Drive, Place beyond the pines. Osaka, Japan which is where I came from during the summer is typically humid and hot. But these past summer I visited there was unbelievable. I don't remember the world being this miserable boiling planet. We really need to make actions to slow down the global warming otherwise it'll speed up melting our brains and we'll keep screwing up the earth. These days I've noticed many things I pay attention to  are the things I never paid attention to. That's probably part of growing up and getting older. You need to go to the beach. Life needs the beach. When your life is bad, you need to go to the beach. When your life is good, you need to go to the beach. Someone told me long time ago that people tend to like the season they are born in. Ok, I was born in summer. And I hate summer. But there's certain sweetness that only summer can provide; Ocean is always good.  When you are in the water,  you would feel that's where we came from. The smell of the grass after the storm or sudden rain  somehow makes me not hate the rain as much as I want to. Ice coffee never tastes better. And I love the end of summer. I love when you feel the beginning of the fall. That, to me, is the most inspiring time of the year. Pigeon Dynamite's Summer Collection  is out,  but the fall is going to be amazing I could already feel it. Enjoy the summer while it lasts because summer 2013 never comes back again.
